Out of State Buyers

Here at Valenti we constantly work with out of state buyers. Please read below if you are interested in purchasing a car and live in a different state.

How can I reserve my vehicle of interest?

We recommend that you leave a minimum deposit of $1,000 or more, depending on the vehicle.


Will you ship me the vehicle?

Yes, but the client will have to take care of shipping. We do have a company we can recommend that will provide you a discounted rate.


Pricing and rebates?

The advertised price for new vehicles on bobvalenti.com, and other outlets, is after all factory incentives. It is applicable to residents in New England and may offer different incentives depending where you live. Therefore, the pricing might be different. For pre-owned vehicles the internet price, plus applicable fees, will be offered to you.


Can I send an inspector to inspect my vehicle of interest?

Yes, we usually recommend that Lemon Squad, which is a national inspection company.


What about taxes?

We will charge the taxes based on the state and county where you will be registering the vehicle.


Can I register any vehicle in my home state?

Yes, we take care of registering the vehicle for you in your home state or you can take care of that if paying via cash or wire.


Can I finance with my bank or credit union?

Yes, but we will not ship any vehicle without proper funding first. We could also assist with financing if needed.


What about insurance?

Customers will need to provide state and VIN specific insurance, driver licenses, and if you are transferring a license plate, a copy of your registration from the state you live in. All documentation must match the address to the new registration.


What if I am not returning home soon?

No problem, we can work with your schedule. Keep in mind if your home state requires a vehicle and emissions inspection before title and registration of the vehicle.


Can I handle my own title and registration?

Yes. If paying cash or wire you can handle it on your own. Otherwise, we handle title and registration.


How long will it take to receive my new registration?

Each state is different, therefore some exceptions apply, but we strive to deliver your new registration within 30 days.


Can I trade a vehicle in?

Yes. You can trade anything in that you have proper ownership documentation for (Example: title and registration). With trades coming from a distance we will need you to send us: vin #, mileage, copy of registration, and pictures documenting the condition of the vehicle. We will then be able to give you a value based on the condition you describe. When the trade arrives at the dealership, we will do a final inspection to confirm condition and make any adjustments to value at that time.


Can I get a ride?

The Valenti dealerships are near to major airports and train stations. With proper scheduling we will gladly pick you up.


Can I ship a car out of the country?

Yes, if it is a used vehicle. New vehicles have different laws and it would require being registered here in the states before it could be exported out of the country.
